Oh, what a day it was in Woofington Park! The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the squirrels… oh boy, the squirrels were up to something. You see, these were no ordinary squirrels. These squirrels had a plan—a big, acorn-sized plan. They were putting on a… circus! A real, live, silly squirrel circus!

But just when the squirrels were about to practice their big trampoline act… disaster struck. The trampoline—poof!—gone! Vanished into thin air! The squirrels were frantic. Chipper did a backflip of panic. Nutters spun around in circles. And Squeaky yelled, “THIS IS A SQUIRREL EMERGENCY!”

And that’s when… dun dun dun… Captain Kibble arrived!

“Captain Kibble is here!” he barked proudly, his tail wagging like a helicopter. Captain Kibble, in case you didn’t know, is a very brave dog with very wiggly ears and a nose so good it could sniff out a single crumb in the fluffiest shag carpet.

“What seems to be the trouble, team?” Captain Kibble asked, his ears perking straight up.

“Our trampoline is missing!” Chipper squeaked. “And we can’t do our big bouncing finale without it!”

Captain Kibble tilted his head to the side—classic move when he’s thinking hard—and said, “Don’t worry, my tiny-tailed friends! I’ll solve this mystery faster than a squirrel can hide an acorn!”

The squirrels cheered in their tiny voices, and Captain Kibble got right to work. His nose twitched. His tail wagged. His paws pattered as he sniffed every corner of the park.

First stop—under the big oak tree. “Smells like dirt… leaves… oh, and someone definitely dropped a peanut butter sandwich here. But no trampoline.”

Then he zoomed over to the fountain, circling three times before sitting down to think. “Just water… no trampoline. Although I might’ve seen my own reflection and growled at it for a second."

The next clue appeared when Fluffy the bunny hopped over, nibbling on a carrot. “Oh, hi, Captain Kibble! Are you looking for that bouncy thing the squirrels were jumping on?”

Captain Kibble’s tail froze mid-wag. “Yes! You know where it is, Fluffy?”

“Well… um… I might’ve seen Benny the goose waddling off with it earlier. Said it’d make a great raft,” Fluffy shrugged. “Geese are weird.”

“Aha!” Captain Kibble barked. “To Benny’s pond we go!”

When they arrived, there it was. Benny the goose was floating on the squirrels’ trampoline like it was the fanciest pool float in goose history. He was sipping pond water from a coconut shell.

“Benny!” Captain Kibble called. “That trampoline belongs to the squirrels! They really need it for their circus.”

Benny wiggled his tail feathers. “Oh, I didn’t mean to make trouble, Captain K. I didn’t know it was so important! I just thought it’d be fun to float around on.”

“Well, it IS fun to share,” Captain Kibble said, “but it’s also important to share back when someone needs their turn.”

Benny looked at the squirrels, who were huddled together, tails twitching with hope. Then he let out a big goose honk and said, “Alright, you can have it back! But… uh… can I come watch the show?”

The squirrels cheered so loudly they almost fell off the branch they were perched on. “Of COURSE you can come!” Nutters said. “And we’ll save you a front-row seat!”

Together they lugged the trampoline back to the circus spot. Captain Kibble helped by holding one side in his teeth. “Helping makes my tail wag extra fast!” he said.

That evening, the silly squirrel circus was the talk of Woofington Park. Benny the goose got his front-row seat, Captain Kibble got to bark along with the music, and the squirrels—they bounced higher than ever before, finishing their final act with an amazing quadruple-flip-double-spiral-squeaky-toe-spin… or, you know, something like that.

And as the stars twinkled in the sky, Captain Kibble lay down in the grass (after circling three times, of course) and smiled. Because sometimes, being a good friend simply means sharing what you have—and taking turns!
